History and charm, a house to live in:Villa San Lorenzo
This splendid residence was born from a major renovation of an 1100 church, San Lorenzo. History tells us that in 1558 the Church of San Lorenzo “without more cura d´anime,“ was partly “discooperta absque tecto,“ and in 1596 it was deconsecrated due to its deteriorating condition by stipulating that “stones et altre materie che sono nel pavimento ... as long as it does not touch the walls et the high walls of said church.“
In the early 1800s the surviving structures of said church were converted into a civilian dwelling, currently known as Villa Pardi.
In the 1990s Villa Pardi was divided into two housing units and entirely renovated .
The renovation done with great care made this home unique and timeless, the work was long but the result is still now, excellent.
This house is a jewel made of poetry, history and love for beauty,a unique atmosphere, rich in history and charm. The combination of original architectural elements, such as the original and well-preserved perimeter walls and the arch of the apse, with modern and functional details, creates an exclusive and fascinating home.
