VILLA ANTICA CON PISCINA- MOLA DI BARI
The “Villa degli Ulivi” was born in the second half of the 19th century as a summer residential house in San Materno near Mola di Bari (BA), in the area called “Antiche Ville” due to the presence of other villas built in the same years. The villa, renovated over the years, retains the original architectural lines and the garden has a swimming pool (15m x 7.5m). The building consists of a main central block and a series of adjacent units which with the renovations have been made independent housing units, each of them with kitchen and bathroom. In total the building contains 5 independent housing units, 7 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms. There is also an ancient renovated trullo merged with the main room, dating back to the 12th century. The villa is on 4 levels: ground floor, first floor, very large panoramic terrace, underground cellars. The total internal surface is approximately 235sqm plus the 140sqm terrace. The garden is planted with ancient trees and plants typical of the Mediterranean scrub: olive trees, mulberry trees, carob trees, etc. and is bordered by dry stone walls, typical elements of the Apulian countryside. The inground pool is lined with PVC. The rectangular artifact measures 7.5 x15. The minimum depth is 1.20m, the maximum depth is 2.50m. There is a large car park (about 10 cars) and a road system designed for the passage of agricultural vehicles for garden maintenance. The villa is independent from water due to the presence of a spring well (duly authorized) and a large underground cistern. Present utilities, electricity and gas plants. The villa is equipped with a heating system powered by the central fireplace; all rooms are equipped with radiators. Predisposition for photovoltaics and solar panel systems.
