There is a dynamic and promising luxury market in Sicily, a region with high scenic and touristic interest. As evidence of this positive trend, which allows real estate operators to plan for the future, there is the emergence of new agencies in the sector and the gradual development of existing ones.
The luxury real estate market promises interesting scenarios for the future, especially in contexts with tourist appeal, such as Sicily. We spoke about this and more with Corrado Morana, Head of Gold Real Estate Agency, operating in the Syracuse area and its surroundings.
What is the current trend in the real estate market in your agency's reference area?
The most popular trend in Syracuse and throughout the province is properties with a sea view or those located within the historical contexts that our land of Sicily is rich in. The most sought-after area is undoubtedly the island of Ortigia, all coastal areas up to the most extreme point of Italy, which is Portopalo di Capopassero.
Based on your experience, have you identified a target clientele for your real estate agency?
The clientele seeking luxury homes is high-spending, mostly foreign, and sees a fertile scenario for investment and achieving significant returns. To a lesser extent but still important, there are also those who wish to enjoy the landscapes and mild temperatures.
What are the most requested properties at the moment?
The most requested properties in our agency are historical ones with luxurious features in general.
What motivated you to partner with Luxforsale for your real estate agency?
The main motivation for establishing such a partnership was the presence of properties in our territory that meet the most sought-after requirements of foreign clients, coupled with the opportunity to gain greater visibility at the international level.
Based on your experience in the sector, what are the possible future developments in the luxury real estate market in your reference area, and in general?
The evolution that the real estate market has undergone in our reference area over the past twenty years is expected, in our view, to grow significantly and expand into other areas, neighborhoods, and even rural areas. We will closely monitor the trend to decide on the best strategy to implement.
