From 1 to 9 September 2018 returns, in an open dialogue with the Contemporary Art, the second edition of Forte Design Week, the prestigious event created to
dialogue the world of Design with the most glamorous tourist resort of Italy, always pride of place in dictating the new trends.
Promoted by Patrizia Grigolini, born from the intuition of Daniele Basso and curated by Francesco Tursini, Forte Design Week aims to promote young talents based on the elegance and timeless refinement of the proposed projects. Where good taste and culture express luxury not ostentatious but discreet, made of substance and where innovation is concrete, quality is real and perceived, in order to create objects with style and elegance beyond the fashions of the moment.

Knowledge, Competence and Culture, in a territory that enjoys a unique position between sea and land, to create an annual event of great media appeal and public, national and international. A new reference point
global for the Design sector itself.
Numerous and different among them the selected product designers who, for the occasion,
present their projects at the Fortino in the heart of Forte dei Marmi. The chosen talents will also have to get involved playing an important character that has marked the history of Forte dei Marmi and Versilia, exporting Italian style and elegance in the world, the lawyer Gianni Agnelli. Among the selected designers we mention Valeria Cifalà and the HIGOLD products, sponsors of the event, signed by Pininfarina and the Swiss designer Nicolas Thomkins who will dialogue with the works of some artists selected for the occasion by the Hysteria Art gallery, including: Massimo Corona, Emily Clementine, Aleandro Roncarà and Antonio Franchi.
In addition to the exhibition at the Fortino, the Onda by Pininfarina line by Higold and the sculptural works Coke Its Me by Daniele Basso and Omaggio a Capocolonna by Giuliano Giancotti will be presented in the exclusive and prestigious Augustus Hotel & Resort.
A young but concrete project, able to give life and space to new collaborations and creative energies, drawing inspiration from the beauty to welcome excellences of the world in a unique and exclusive way, combining in the center of Forte Dei Marmi and in the different locations involved, also on the seafront, cultural and social activities, with moments
glamorous and innovative. Opportunities to present visions, projects and products in the
splendid setting of Versilia, capitalizing on the historical link between the world of high society and the intellectual avant-garde, icon of world-wide fame in the imagination of Forte Dei Marmi.
