The social design by iota project

Design furnishing accessories and home decorations, all rigorously handmade using artisan techniques, creating at the same time jobs for people who are otherwise unemployed all over the world, allowing them to earn an honest life, is the vision behind to the creations of IOTA.

A vision that includes on one hand a social responsibility and on the other a way to preserve and protect the traditional arts by extending the importance of knowledge and skills.

In a world where technology is the master, IOTA products embody the craftsman's unique digital imprint, creating an emotional connection between him and the final product he created.

The collection we are presenting is dedicated to crochet work, one of the oldest yarn processing techniques, a timeless art that allows you to create both flat and three-dimensional shapes by making knots in different ways in order to create infinite configurations.

The collection consists of carpets, stools, cushions and a swing.

The carpets are colored, of various sizes, structure and colors. Handmade with different crochet techniques that make each final product unique and that holds the precious hand of the person who made it, and the special combination of tailor-made fabrics.

The cushions on the other hand offer different alternative seating options based on the space available. They are comfortable, inviting and a captivating option to rest on. They can fit perfectly as part of various seat assemblies, as can be separate pieces.

As for the stools, they have a very special touch of design. They have been designed to be small, compact and comfortable with an oak wood structure and covered with unique fabrics of different color combinations.

Finally the swings: light, fluctuating and enchanting, with many knitted elements hung on threads that support the seat of oak wood, where it is possible to sit alone or even in company. Ideal for spending a relaxing day with your friends or with your loved one.

These wonderful swings are ideal to be placed in very large spaces as well as seating solutions in various interior situations.
