Nicolas Thomkins, born in 1953 in Ascona, Switzerland and based in Germany, is an internationally renowned designer with a deep knowledge of materials and a maniacal attention to detail. Its design focuses on the 360 ​​° product and the sensorial experience user by applying high standards of ergonomics and the pursuit of well-being.

Since 2014 he has been part of the Higold design team, realizing several original projects that have led him to win countless awards in international design competitions, such as the Red Dot Design Award, one of the biggest and most important design awards in the world that every year awards the exceptional quality of designers and producers.
