Valeria piccardo, from ligurama agency in savona: “one of our goals for the coming months is to strengthen the partnership with luxforsale.

Our specials

One of the most attractive areas in Liguria from a real estate market perspective is Savona and its province. We interviewed Valeria Piccardo, the owner of "Ligurama", to get a closer look at the market dynamics and envision the potential developments of the partnership initiated with Luxforsale.it.

What is the current trend in the real estate market in your reference area, which is Western Liguria?

At the moment, there's a strong openness to buying, but there's a limited availability of high-end properties on the market to sell. This leads to a significant price imbalance and, most importantly, a lot of time spent searching for selling opportunities. Currently, the market is more open and dynamic in the area bordering France, up to the city of Imperia.

Continuing from Imperia towards Savona and the edge of the province of Genoa, as I mentioned, there are many challenges due to the lack of luxury properties ready to be sold. These are mainly properties that lack finishing touches and therefore don't fit into the price range of the Luxforsale market. At the moment, we only have two properties available with a significant price tag.

Based on your experience, what is the target clientele for your agency?

Primarily, we deal with the buying and selling of properties referred to us by people within our network. Generally, we have fairly affluent clients who bring us deals from all over Italy, as they not only own homes they live in but also properties they want to invest in. These clients usually entrust us not only with the buying and selling of their properties or the search for properties to buy but also with the management of related matters, such as handling urban planning, cadastral, inheritance procedures, and even credit recovery related to their properties. So, our services cover all administrative aspects. This means we can handle only a few cases per year as each one requires commitment and specialization.

What types of properties are most in demand at the moment?

In Liguria, panoramic properties are currently the most sought-after. However, the fact that the region is highly urbanized, with cemented areas and infrastructure not suitable for high-end properties on sale, creates issues. For example, we have truly interesting properties, tasteful, refined, excellently located from a panoramic perspective, but with access roads presenting challenges.

What motivated you to establish a partnership with Luxforsale for your real estate agency?

I believe that to strengthen our work, it's also necessary to have a partnership with established entities in terms of image, quality assurance, prestige, and high standards in both work and offerings. For us, Luxforsale seemed the ideal partner to achieve this goal. Along with my colleagues, I'm confident that we can further develop this valuable partnership with Luxforsale in the future. Within our agency, we have staff who are native French, English, and Portuguese speakers. Therefore, we believe we can offer a valuable and dedicated service for the acquisition of properties in Italy for both European and non-European clients
